It is a two-year associate degree program that aims to raise individuals who can include and implement different educational programs implemented at national and international levels, distribute them in a normal and comprehensive manner, have contemporary knowledge about comprehensive preschool education, have developed observation skills, can think creatively and questioningly, and attach importance to school-family cooperation.

Our program aims to train child development specialists who are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills in the field of child development, who can prepare the necessary environments for the healthy growth and development of children, who can provide education and care services by considering the individual differences of each child, including children with special needs, and who are committed to ethical values, responsible and have leadership qualities.

It aims to train qualified 'Child Development Professionals' who can evaluate the mental, language, motor, social-emotional development and self-care skills of normally developing children, children with disabilities, children in need of protection, working children, refugees, children pushed into crime and children in hospital between the ages of 0-18, and who provide services to children, families, educators and society in supporting all development and skill areas.

Our two-year associate degree education is provided face-to-face and full-time. In addition to theoretical knowledge, our students have the opportunity to gain experience in the field and increase their professional competence through practical courses and internship opportunities at preschool education institutions affiliated with the Silopi District National Education Directorate. Our curriculum is enriched with courses covering a wide range of topics such as child psychology, developmental theories, family education, early childhood education programs, special education and game material development.

Our department's primary duty is to provide the society with future experts with an innovative and participatory education approach that responds to the needs of the region and the country in the field of child development, follows scientific developments.
